There are few web resources that I can find, but there are some Real Audio samples with a purchase link here (scroll to bottom of page) and videos at youtube here to start with

Comparisons:

Her singing style similar to other singers of traditional Middle Eastern material.

Covers/own material:

Traditional and covers

General comments:

She has a deep, dark voice, and while she's making contemporary versions of Turkish folk music, meaning that she includes contemporary instruments, the overall sound seems quite traditional to me most of the time. The sound is often mournful, sometimes lively, always a little edgy. A very interesting sound. (Neile)

Comments:

Mournful songs to break your heart. It's sad that our only recording of these is a tape that has grown muddy already—and the last song on each side is cut off. Still, worth listening to! (Neile)

Comments:

While this begins with a lively pop song, the mournful folk tunes quickly appear. Zara's voice is equally powerful singing pop as traditional tunes. This is perhaps my favourite of the three collections of hers we have. (Neile)
