General comments:

Rich-voiced and straightforward, Sheryl Skye belts out her jazzy pop/rock songs, sounding as though she has to hold herself back from screaming it out. Her voice really does sound like she's constantly reining it in. Her songwriting is in the contemporary folk line and seems pretty solid. One of the nicest aspects of her sound are the jazzy touches—a bit of piano here, saxophone there. (sophiagurley@hotmail.com)
