Comments:

Rachel Sierra Project's debut is a powerful recording with some amazing songs. She has an impressive voice and the orchestration is well done. She recalls early Fiona Apple with a dash of Paula Cole. "One last hit" is slinky, soulful and has a powerhouse vocal that edges towards what r'n'b divas do without really being as over the top. "No More" is softer and teases out some of Sierra's more restrained side. "About you" sees Sierra deliver one of her usual sultry vocal bits to a sensitive melody. This is a remarkable and rich debut. (stjarnell@yahoo.com)
