Comments:

Ina May Wool and Bev Grant have both recorded solo, and this is their debut as a duo.
It has a warm, relaxed sound and some truly great songs, both their own and covers.
Opener "A few old memories" by Hazel Dickens gets a comfortable, easy reading.
"Get the frack outta here" is a humorous anti-fracking song that they carry off well.
"Janis" is a song by Wool about Janis Joplin, delivered with passion and verve. It's a very moving account of the singer's far too brief life.
"I remember love" by Bev Grant is a slow, sad song with a gorgeous vocal. It's got some nice jazzy touches.
     It's a wonderful record all told. (stjarnell@yahoo.com)
