General comments:

she has a beautiful mellifluous voice, writes great songs with interesting melodies, performed with style and wit.
In short, everything that Ectophiles love. (MPower@exchange.ml.com)

She's a very nice and talented singer-songwriter. (paul2k@aol.com)

Jenny Bruce was a great discovery at a Joy Askew house concert, and I've been a real fan of her music since then.
Frequently compared to singer/songwriters Paul Simon and Aimee Mann, native New Yorker Jenny Bruce is a soulfully rooted pop/folk artist. Bruce's intelligent lyrics are borne effortlessly upon her "warm thick orange" voice reminding critics and fans alike of Annie Lennox or a less "whiny" Paula Cole. (jeffw@smoe.org)

Comments about live performance:

Jenny Bruce opened, and I was happy to finally get a chance to hear her, after reading the good things about her here in the past. Fine voice, good songs (though the ode to her computer was a bit silly, particularly the line about "looking for heaven.com"). (02/02,meth@smoe.org)
