Me:
The best way I can think of to describe myself is similar to Delerium from Neil Gaiman's Sandman series. I'm rather all over the place, although I have yet to perfect the art of disintergrating into a heap of butterflies.

Barring references to obscure comic books, I am randomly scattered, eschewing and investigating media hype, and a fan of only that which I find interesting. Which can range all over the place.

I also tend to be rather opinionated, which is why I normally don't talk a lot.

Music:
I don't really divide music into genres. More into "I Like It," "I Can Tolerate It," and "Polka."

I can like one album by an artist, and hate all the rest of them, I have no brand affiliation.

Don't really see a lot of live shows, as I'm disenchanted by the modern method of live concerts. An artist creates an album, then goes back and memorizes their playing/singing note for note so it can be reproduced exactly in concert show after show after show.

I suppose that means for an artist to be good, I look for spontaneity and fidelity to themselves at the risk of losing mass market support. Which is not bound to win me any friends in the music industry, but I like what I like.

Other stuff:
I am always in search of rare recordings. If it's listed in the Guide as "hard to find," I'm probably looking for it. If there's something you'd like me to hunt for, email me!
