Hannah Peel has a somewhat fragile voice. The Broken Wave is mostly folkie—contemporary and traditional, but her work since then has veered more toward pop. (Neile)

Comments:

This album is a little uneven but has a couple of great tracks, and her traditional covers are interesting. My favourites here are the neo-traditional "The Almond Tree" and the folkie "Don't Kiss the Broken One." (Neile)

Honorable mention for my list of top albums of the year. (gordodo@optonline.net)

Found her album awfully dull. (christina_skov@hotmail.com)
