Comments:

Ian Wilson's debut ep is a nice listen; he pens honest and unflinchingly emotional songs. "Andrew" is a deep narrative of a dysfunctional relationship, Walton's piano playing is superlative here. "The Crater" is sumptuous and has a stunning vocal line. The Tori Amos influence shows here. "Creative writing workshop" shows Wilson's music from it most appealing side. His piano playing is excellent as ever and the lyrics nicely self-depreciating. He's made a remarkable debut. (stjarnell@yahoo.com)
