Comparisons:

Covers/own material:

Traditional British folk

General comments:

Eliza Carthy is Martin Carthy and Norma Waterson's daughter, and is part of their Waterson:Carthy trio recording. Enjoyable lively, traditional folk music. Overall, I think I prefer Eliza Carthy's later work, but there is much to enjoy in their two albums for those who like stripped-down traditional music. (Neile)

This has some lovely, lively moments. I especially like songs like "I Know My Love" which show off how well their voices work together. Good renditions of traditional folksongs and lively reels. I prefer Eliza Carthy's other work better, though. (Neile)
