Comments:

Carol Martini makes amusing and sometimes moving music. She recalls Christine Lavin on occasion, though she's her own woman. This album houses several lovely and cute songs about the singer's mother. The style is mostly barebones acoustic, and it makes for a cool sound when combined with Martini's neat vocals. It's a record that's well worth a spin. (stjarnell@yahoo.com)
