Comments:

Ella G'Sell has a lovely voice that's capable of both childlike innocence and more adult sweetness. She pens great songs too. "Come to me" is heartbreakingly beautiful, the vocals as pristine as Sarah McLachlan's can be. "Put it down" uses world-music influences to create a great sound and G'Sell's voice reaches its lower register well. "Loved by an angel" is a nice summation of the album's spiritual themes. This album easily lives up to its title. (stjarnell@yahoo.com)
